The library is the resource Centre that supports and enhances the curriculum of the college. Teachers reinforce their classroom instruction with assignments that guide students to research opportunities within the college library. The library functions on an open access system for the faculty members and the students. It has a collection of about 5,816 books and a number of volumes of periodicals and journals in various disciplines. Services such as lending of books, reading room, reprographic facilities and other information are rendered by the library.
College library is open for students and staff during the college hours on all working days.
Students are allowed to get issuance for only one book at a time which has to be returned within 15 days.
Complete silence is to be observed in the college library cum reading rooms as well.
Students are directed to handle books properly. Any body found misusing the library books/library journals/magazines etc. shall be punished under rules.
If a borrowed book is lost, torn or damaged, the student responsible for it will be liable toreplace it or pay double the cost of the book.
Every student at the time of borrowing books from the Library shall present to the Librarian h/herborrower card. The card is issued by the Librarian.
Every student on being admitted shall be issued an “Identity Card” which h/she shall carry with h/herself all the time and shall produce on demand while in college. In case of loss of ID Card afine of Rs. 100/- shall be charged for issuing duplicate ID Card.
